I don't read the comic, but I've been seeing a lot of talk on f!s about how they DO create explicit porn, but just keep it in the print books, not online. Which I think is what the OP is getting at - if you don't want your name associated with explicit porn, don't make any at all. Keeping it just to the print books doesn't mean it won't be associated with the creator.

I do agree with your last statement, but I can see where the OP is coming from. Besides, the creators may just be wanting to keep the explicit stuff in a place where it's harder to get to. Put up the light stuff online, where minors may be able to see it, and keep the explicit stuff to books that require ID or proof of being over 18 or whatever to buy it.

I think the creators sound brilliant. Giving people the softcore for free and making them pay for the hardcore? If I had the talent, fuck yeah that's what I'd do. Most webcomic authors have to settle for putting a few fun-but-unnecessary extras like commentary in the print version, hoping that loyal fans will pay for what they get for free.

Ironically, I am now a lot more interested in the webcomic knowing it doesn't have hardcore porn in it, because I am ridiculously picky about when I want to look at dicks.
