IDK depending on where you live, it's pretty easy to be familiar with "guidos" (though TBH I thought that was a racial slur for Italian people, is it an actual subculture?)

From what I remember, yes, it's an insult but some Italians use that word like a sense of pride. The weird thing is Snooki is adopted and isn't even really Italian. I don't think she should be using that word.
