I love Percy. ♥ He gets picked on a lot, both in the books and in the fandom, but I think he's a great character. Smart, ambitious, very concerned with appearances, at odds with his family, often a bit of a pompous idiot -- but he makes the right choices and proves that he's a real Gryffindor in the end.

I always felt a little bad for him, to be honest. I know what it's like to feel embarassed by your family and to want something more than what you came from. Kind of makes me wonder how he grew up so different from all of his siblings, to be honest.
