(Anonymous) 2011-07-28 06:50 pm (UTC)(link)I don't. At all. And I'm even upset that a person assumes all gay men must act that way or even find that personality type appealing at all.
And as someone who has been scorned/made to be an outlier due to not acting 'gay enough' around some of my flamboyant peers (Sorry, I don't always want to make inappropriate comments about stranger's asses or listen to Lady GaGa bros, it's just not me.), yeah, having people insist I have to like a flaming character does rub me the wrong way.
The main character's flamboyance doesn't deterr me, if there were other things about Glee I found interesting, I'd just take it as an aspect of his character, but the fact of the matter is that Glee doesn't interest me.
