Just came here to say the same thing. I wish I could have seen that quality costume on your shape in person #12.

I hope I can find English subs, but if not I'll do what I did for the first 3 weeks of LRDS before I realized that closed caption channel 3 put out english captions, I'll muddle along and use context clues. I'm thrilled that mun2 is streaming it on their website.

Idk, maybe fujoshi's not exactly the right term? But I don't know any goofy puns to describe a woman who acts mostly normal in public but secretly is really into f/f and m/m shipping. And I am pretty much only comfortable using goofy puns to define my self-identity.

I haven't read the book either, I'm sort of worried that it won't turn out as well for the characters and the tv show was already pretty hard on them. :)

I really loved the hell out of the show. I'd dvr it all week and then marathon it on the weekend, it was great. :D I wish they'd put the whole thing out on DVD.

I will never understand why people keep asserting that the actor who plays Lupin is not attractive. And besides, Lupin's not supposed to be a hunk. He's supposed be haggard and woobie-ish, not Hugh Jackman.

Agreed so much with Twlight Princess! I kept seeing fan videos for those two in that game and I was just like O_o "What about the girl he spends the whole game with? Or the childhood friend who has a rather romantic scene with him? No? Okay."
Some Zelink shippers ship them no matter what, which can be...kinda squicky, or senseless. Or both.

Yeah - well, I can sort of buy it in some scenarios, like with plenty of development afterwards or with some slight AU so they have more interaction, but as it is... yeah, no.

When I was little, I used really like 02. Now that I'm older and have re-watched it, it wasn't as great as I remember. I still like it and all, but there's just one thing that has always kept me from truly loving it...

I know this is late! But I just thought I should say that there's the Homestuck Shipping Olympics going on and I am actually on the Jade/Karkat team! We have 11 members last I checked, just short of the maximum, and we had 12 until someone had to drop out due to time constraints! So there should be more fanworks soon. :D

It helps if you completely separate your RL internet activities from your fandom ones. I have separate e-mails (which means I'll never send an e-mail to the wrong person, because my fandom address book doesn't have any of my RL contacts, and vice versa), separate livejournals, and even separate facebook pages. And I always log out of everything before I switch between the two, just in case. Sounds a bit obsessive and neurotic, but it's become habit and to date I've never slipped up.

Pretty much the only mistake you can make with that is forgetting to log back in once you've logged out. And then you end up accidentally posting anonymous comments. As above.

Pinkie is not somehow deeply flawed even if she has a mental illness. That is an ableist attitude that is harmful to real people with mental illnesses. Diagnosing other real people is also harmful if you're not in any way trained to do so, but fictional characters are open to interpretation based on how they're shown in canon. I love Pinkie Pie even though she is almost certainly not neurotypical.

Of course happy and energetic does not automatically equal mental illness. I never said anything of the sort; in fact I specifically pointed out Party of One, the only episode where she wasn't. In that episode, she became so depressed that she was hallucinating. The cartoonists were clearly going for a "crazy" motif with the creepy music and weird eyes.

So clearly you're not using reading comprehension, you're just vomiting your persecution complex wherever it seems vaguely appropriate. ~~Interesting you didn't target the commenter down there talking about how good of a fuck Pinkie Pie would be. If I were to white-knight Pinkie Pie, I'd probably target that person.~~

I was born around the time that New Kids started to get big (1987), but I had older sisters who were in love with them (in fact, they convinced my mom to semi-stalk them by following their car to their hotel after a concert one night). As such, I grew up loving them too. One of my sisters loved Donnie while the other loved Danny, and they told me I was gonna marry Joey (there's even home video of me talking about it. LOL!). :D To this day, I still love Joey, but I'm a total Donnie girl now.

Regardless, I love their fusion with BSB (who, growing up in the 90s, I of course loved). I hope that both bands continue to make music and, what's more, that they continue to be the awesome super-group that they are.

and the ending for Adventure was so great :(

Oh man I sang it at a convention once and the way I had to breathe to get that voice actually triggered a panic attack. I can't biologically explain it to this day. All I know is that I was shaky and nearly threw up just from doing that voice. I think it had to do with forcing air out my nose rather than taking it into my lungs so I was borderline choking.

Aah they haven't even released a clean version of it! The only thing we get is ripped from the episode!

...also I have to say that I had no idea that was actually Freeman singing it.
