I think they just dropped the ball with the Weasleys in the 8th film. Fred's death was underwhelming, Molly killing Bellatrix had no punch, and with Percy t was like, Oh, Percy is there, who was he again?

Damn, now I'm dreading to see the movie.

Didn't they drop the ball with the Weasleys way before DH Pt. 2? Like, they hadn't introduced Bill in GoF, thus missing the opportunity to drop some foreshadowing about his and Fleur's wedding in DH Pt. 1, and I don't remember Charlie being mentioned AT ALL... it's as if he'd never existed.

Did they not mention Charlie during the first movie when they were dealing with the dragon? For the life of me, I can't remember

They definitely mention him in either the first or second movie. I distinctly remember Ron saying, "My brother Charlie..." (I can't remember how the sentence ended, but something along the lines of "my brother Charlie works with dragons in Romania")

Ah, did he now? It's been a while since I've seen the earlier movies, sorry about that.

I still wish I had seen Charlie in the films, though. :( Haven't seen DH 1 and 2 yet, does he at least show up?

The movie is not bad. The deal with the Weasleys is my only complaint, really; the rest of the final battle is pretty epic.
