You should at LEAST come out to her. Because I've been in a similar situation, and she was either noble or totally uninterested, because my attempts at seduction failed SO HARD.

But like - I'm not sure if I -am- bisexual. I like her, but I've never been with a woman at all. I'm afraid that if I did she'd either be 'well, duh, fandom' or '...shit, is she coming on to me? FUCK'

So maybe just tell her flat out that you fancy her and that it's not about fandom and that you're also perhaps not entirely sure about the whole sleeping together thing because you haven't done that before, but still would like to try it out?

So, go for it, then. I mean, if you don't tell her anything then you... will actually be languishing away like a regency heroine, which, while somewhat flattering for characters like Elizabeth Bennet, isn't actually of any use when the person you like isn't a dark brooding hero with lots of money.

Unless the girl you like IS a dark brooding hero with lots of money, in which case it may be better to wait for a dramatic moment in the rain, or something to that nature.
