It's times like these when I wish there was
less of a mob of slash obsessed women on lj
more guys on lj to just discuss the actual game and events

more places to be a hockey fan on lj without caring about NHL shipping at all.
I want to talk game and strategy and I don't give two fucks about your Kane/Whoever, I really don't.

there is the ONTD_pucking comm which is pretty good. Lot's of hockey discussion/other crap. true, it's all girls, but there area few dudes.

side note: i think it's pretty amusing you have run into hockey slash. i've always wondered what a guy would think of it hahaha

Let me guess, you failed reading comprehension?
If I was able to find the hockey_macros community, a logical guess for you to make would be that I did at least a basic sweep of the lj landscape, and didn't simply give up after discovering one slash comm. So no. And I used the qualifier 'more' in my request, so as to not make it seem like lj was full of nothing but slash, because we both know that's not true.

And I like livejournal formats better than forums.

You'll probably never read this, but I like blowing off steam.

...Why are you not on one of the thousand hockey forums on the internet, then? LJ is like the one place on the whole interbutts where you would have this problem. Why demand that the one place for hockey slash change into something else so that you can get something you could get literally anywhere else here, too?

Some of us don't care for the bullshit team bashing and smack talk that makes up 99.9% of the posts there, and would rather just have a civil discussion about our teams.
