i love that the most i think. the cheesiness and the campness of it all. drama! dramatic closeups! kirk's face having a 'dreamy' blur effect! cheap sets! THE GOGGLES, THEY DO NOTHING

and of course the characters themselves. i love their entire team dynamic. i don't just mean Captain Pervy Smile, Eyebrow Raise(tm) and MY GOD JIM, but Uhura, Scotty, Sulu, Chekov - everyone! i watched the TOS movies before i even finished season 1 for one reason or another but see, this is why i love even the 'bad' ones: all the character interaction!

and shameless crushing on kirk is obligatory, right? it is for me

But totally, so much love for the cheesy special effects and the aliens of the week, the dramatic chords, the vaseline on the lense, and the way everyone falls over on the bridge during space!turbulence.

(And the too-short trousers).

I . . . don't crush on Cpt. PSER (tm) Kirk, but I do enjoy going LOL, JIM at him. On the other hand, boundless love and affection for Chekov, Uhura, Sulu and Scotty.

Strangest thing, I've only seen around 5 episodes. A Star Trek marathon is looking pretty tempting at the moment :D
