I'm a member of a group which regularly makes fun of bad porn, especially Rule 34 and occasionally furry porn - not really because it IS Rule 34 or furry, mostly because it's badly written, but so much of the aforementioned are badly written that it's kind of like shooting fish in a barrel and we make jokes about how bad they always are.

I totally want to write some Rule 34 for a couple of things aimed at kids, but I'm so worried someone I know will find it and I feel bad for having made fun of it so much.

Why can't you just play it as "we make fun of a lot of badfic here, but so people can't say I'm never happy, I thought I'd prove that it can be done well, or at least up to my standards?"
