And at least two-thirds of the mpreg fics I've read have attempted to explain how it was possible in those fictional worlds. Maybe if you're going to bash a genre, you should try reading a wider variety within it first.

And yet, this is exactly what the OP is doing, by their own admission. I think what anon was trying to say was, if you keep reading it even though you dislike it, you lose the right to complain. But if you're honestly looking for something worthwhile, and that's why you're still reading it, maybe you should keep looking, because the good stuff is definitely out there.
