I can sorta relate. Something similar happened to me this year and these people who I had talked to and helped through difficult times conveniently dropped me for some asshole to keep themselves distracted from their own problems. It really pissed me off since I gone out of my way for them, like missed classes to talk to them and spent hours staying with them into the evening so they wouldn't feel lonely. I felt really used until I realized friends like that weren't worth spitting on.

Sucks that she ruined a fandom for you. But once you cut that person out of your life it gets much easier to move on and enjoy the things you used to love. Hope it gets better for you anon.
