12. Islander here. Think it's been said a million times but I'm rather slow on the uptake. Every character I play is from an obscure or at least not a super popular fandom and/or series, and I still get plenty of character interaction. It's not about the series, it's about the interaction, yo. We're all good people, just a little nuts.

I don't know for certain if this is about me, though seeing as you used one of the icon bases I made for the picture as well, I'll risk this response.

I know who you are (your photobucket kinda gave it away) and I'll start this off by saying "I'm sorry". I'm really honored that you like my Vincent, and he is one of my longtime muses, so if I can find a good premise to play him in, I do. Sadly with the way games have been going, that hasn't been a lot, but anyway. I ramble.

As for the problem of a game ending and all sorts of other things... I do have a complaint with you, and that has been mainly with your characterization of the people who you pick up in relation to him. While I understand certain things happening in crack games, there are certain defined personalities I have personally seen you, if you will pardon my usage of the word, wreck, just for possible attention and smut. I am also not alone in this thinking.

You write well, and while I know I'm no authority on characterization or interpretation, but there is no way that I can find it in myself to play with you at a stretch, because most of the time I'm left cringing at what you've written. I think Darfur the Chocobo and Hojo was really enough for me. I'm sorry if this offends or hurts you, but I do hope you look into this.

6. Honey, I share an icon journal - the icon journal voted best icon journal two years running - with the creator of the awards. A lot of people like my icons, and I couldn't ask for better publicity. And I didn't get nommed for a single category.

So really, there's no need to feel like you got shafted for not getting nommed. The very structure of the awards unfortunately creates a bias toward the more popular iconists, which is something that's being worked on so lesser-known iconists have a better chance of getting nommed and winning next year. Until then, don't be upset you didn't get nommed. No one got nommed! XD;

I think most of what's even considered good in Xenosaga fandom is often crap. The crackauthors honestly aren't that much worse than the ones who think they're writing something sophisticated and meaningful (look at any character piece on Albedo for this).

22. I don't want to sound Waaaaaapanese or anything, but I'm one of those people who got so interested in the Japanese language because of anime/manga. XD Now I love it for what it is and I'm doing some self-study on it, and I intend to study the culture of Japan and such as well! I wanted to play guitar to ... well, I always wanted to, but to be able to play some of my favorite songs and maybe contribute to some fan remixes would be awesome too. XD *shot* It's okay to get into something because of fandom, as long as you genuinely like it!
