This is Lacus Clyne, actually. Most people love Lacus. Part of what made me hate her was her frightening fanbase, many of which will beat you up if you don't proclaim her your favorite character or close to it. That, and she's an undeniable Mary Sue (no, really; she's a pop singer and filthy rich and her dad was a prominent politician and she is very influential of public opinion and everyone loves her and she's very beautiful and kind and loving and noble and vulnerable and managed to help stop a huge battle just by giving a speech, etc.).

Everyone hates Fllay for being manipulative and cowardly, and for that I love her because she's easily the most flawed and one of the most sympathetic characters in the whole series.

2: Well, as long as you're not pouring seething hatred towards her and/or her fans in the most stupidest manner (like I've seen from majority of the Lacus haters), then it's A-OK. Not everyone will love her. *shrugs* Just be mature about it?

12: Hey, it's not about the popularity of the characters that matter, it's about interaction. From that RP, I've learned about several obscure series and its characters, and also had fun with the players. You just have to play with many people. 2) Like you said, it's retarded to flame and bash characters you don't like nonstop, so if you're not doing that then I think it is cool beans. Characters have varying personalities, though, so it's a no duh that certain people like and dislike certain ones. But haha, I'm curious, either way. What exactly about her is it that you don't like?

7) I actually see a lot of *good* Xenosaga fic out there. Maybe you're someone I stalk and glee over! I wish I could tell. Even though in fanfic world good is subjective, since I absolutely boggle over seeing amazing fics get three replies/reviews and... not so amazing ones get like 200+. :(

I don't like her scary fanbase that can't seem to take no for an answer, and how absolutely perfect she is just ticks me off. A lot of other characters are perfect, too, and I don't like them either, but it's her special way of it that gets me. The way she helped save the whole of mankind and all didn't even make any logical sense, but it worked in the context of the show because it's her. And that's really more the writing than anything, but adding that to how she's written the rest of the time and how rabid her fanbase is just made my irritation build up more and more. Plus a lot of them (her fans, and even those who aren't her fans) also bash Fllay for being a "bitch" and a "whore," and claiming that she deserved to die, etc. which ticks me off because Fllay merely has natural flaws while Lacus is almost unbelievably perfect, and yet the latter is considered a better character. And yeah.

6. There are a lot of amazing makers of animanga icons and/or graphics that aren't nominated, simply because they don't post their stuff publicly enough and so on. There are also some people that get nominated for categories that they don't even situate themselves in very much-- as I figured out doing the samples for the 'animated icons'. It seems that there are also certain "types" of people that tend to go 'forward' with nominations. IDK, ICONING IS SRS BUZNESS.

6. Since my ego took a blow a while back concerning icons, I'm with you on that. ^^' I'd just like to have a mention.

8. It annoys me when obnoxious people take my icons because then I feel like I'm somehow associated with them and that people will think that I'm just like them.
