I'm with you on the relationships being wrecks waiting to happen, only, I don't see Hermione with Harry either. Or really, any of the boys in the series. I like to think she didn't wind up with either of them, but instead a random nice guy who is smart enough to treat her the way she deserves. I don't see canon Harry or canon Ron being that guy, based on how they've treated her through the series. She seems like a convienient homework machine to them, somehow.

I like Harry/Hermione, but I kind of agree. I definitely think she's way too good for Ron, and while they're weren't terrible to her, they definitely didn't treat her particularly well a lot of the time. It seems like their occasional bursts of "you're brilliant!" were supposed to make up for constant crabbiness towards her.
