(Anonymous) 2011-07-31 08:37 pm (UTC)(link)Honestly, if I was closer to more people in fandom, I'd probably drop my current beta in a heart-beat. One of the last things I sent her (I haven't written much since then), I just wanted her overall opinion because I was having issues and I wanted to see if it was just me. I told her this, but it still took her three weeks, and she was DRUNK when she finally did. To make matters worse, we had several IM conversations in that three week period and she gushed about the fic other people had sent her.
