You're just like every other ~literary nerd~ who makes herself feel better by hating on popular shit and claiming it's so much worse than the GOOD stuff which only smart people like you enjoy. Harry Potter is overrated as fuck, but lol at the idea that SUSAN COOPER isn't also overrated, or is somehow astronomically and objectively better? Classic mark of the immature brain to have to shit on something else to express your love for your SUPERIOR stuff.

Luckily, everyone who's read these less popular authors will chime in to agree because it sure is sweet to feel elite, as witnessed in these very comments.

Snobbery is tiresome as hell, but it's so much worse when the thing you're a snob about isn't even particularly good.

Where's your brain? Because the whole "brainwashed philistines" was not fairhearing saying "Oh, this is what you are! Blaargh!"
