I've read some of these fics and liked them. Do I view children in a sexual manner? No. Do I want something like this to ever happen to a child? No. I personally don't even picture it happening to an actual child weirdly enough.

Wow, you're being really aggressive here, though I understand it's a really sensitive topic for all parties. I certainly don't mean to offend you with this reply, as you have a right to your opinion, and I'm extremely sorry if I make you feel bad in any way whatsoever!!! ):

I think a lot of people have kinks about noncon, or "forced seduction", even imagining being on the receiving end-- I don't really have this kink or want to talk about my kinks in particular here, but I've had friends who are really into the idea of imagining their trust being abused, like someone taking advantage of them emotionally, and sometimes adult/child scenarios play into those fantasies.

Or people who actually were abused as children, and read fic as a coping mechanism.

Or people who do it because they like seeing how that particular character would work through the situation.

Or people who just like reading dark!fic for the emotional catharsis.

There are a lot of reasons why someone would enjoy some of those fanfics in this secret, so it seems a little bit flip when you just reply SO MAD about it right away...

i'm not against power dynamic and i'm ok with people having kinks and all, i have mine and i totally get the ones you mentioned but my problem is that power dynamic involves two forces that can struggle with each other and eventually one overpowers the other but forcing a kid to blow you?, to me that's just abuse of a powerless kid.

But the power imbalance being taken to that extreme is what turns some people on. Like, your definition is that one party can fight back, but sometimes, people just want to imagine something where there is a complete inability for someone to defend themselves.

Yeah, a kid is powerless in a way that an adult could never be by virtue of being a kid... and powerless. Thus the power differential is more extreme than it would be if it were an adult.
