I haven't gotten a chance to see the anime yet, but I've heard of the new female character they've slipped into it. I know she's cameo-ed in the manga a couple times. I refuse to pass judgement on her until I see the show. After all, I fully admit that Meiling was my favorite from CCS.

You're not the only YuGiOh! fan who's had a slightly demented crush on him, OP. *raises hand guiltily* He's not the most unattractive psycho in anime and manga history (at least for the most part until he gets all deranged and veiny in the last few episodes).

He and Bakura both have individual fangirl legions. I think Marik's just seen as initially scarier because he'd just as soon stab you as look at you.

As a big Dean/Cas shipper, I'm sincerely sorry that happened to you. I've actually had a couple of experiences along the same lines from Wincest shippers, and it sucks when people are jerks just because you don't ship and/or like the same pairing they do.

All that said, I don't think it's fair to associate all Destiel fans with that one blog and its followers. That would be like me saying, just because I've had a couple of really bad experiences with Wincest fans, that all Wincest shippers are crazy assholes. Sure, some of them are, but not everyone who ships the brothers is gonna act like complete jerks just because someone else does not or because they do ship Dean/Cas.

TBH, the love of Narcissa for her son is the only portrayal of this particular emotion in the whole series that I found believable. Probably a case of telling vs. showing; I'm not fond of the whole "LOOK LOOK HOW MUCH LILY LOVED YOU OMG SHE DIED FOR YOU OMG SO EPIC LOVE."

Actually, Joe Carey had 2 sons, and no daughters at all. Also, he appeared in an entire two episodes over seven years before he died. His death (while unnecessary) was not a big deal to most people because he was barely a character.

Janeway, on the other hand, was the central character. Funny how the first female captain to be featured in a series is also the only captain who gets killed off in the spinoff novels. Can't imagine why people are pissed off and not willing to keep reading.
