I'm of two minds about this. On one hand, if they are going ot take something from American culture, they should make sure they aren't doing some unintentionally offensive. On the other hand, most Americans clearly don't care much about how they portray Koreans, so why should Koreans care about American culture? What you wrote in your comment is something I have thought a lot about in the past, and I still don't have an answer.
