I'm honestly curious as to where you've seen the Kaede hate. It wouldn't surprise me that it actually is out there, because fans are batshit insane like that. But most people seem to be other positive or at least neutral toward her.

/a/ probably. I've seen a few bitchfights over whether she's a good character and nasty names do get thrown at her. Fortunately the general consensus is still that she's pretty justified in her angry attitude, and the bickering derails into making fun of QUALITY shots or discussing again whether Barnaby is a robot.

I'm not the OP, but I have seen some Kaede hate around. (Though not much, thankfully.) Like in this discussion thread (http://tiger-and-bunny.livejournal.com/114735.html?thread=1870383#t1870383) at the Tiger and Bunny LJ comm, where one person calls her a whore and another says they agree and that they want to punch her in the face.

Not the OP, either, but tumblr also has a fair amount of Kaede hate. It's completely depressing (and in the case of the comm, even more depressing that the mods don't pay attention to such things. Yeah, yeah, free speech and all that, but there's a point where so much hatred is totally detrimental to the atmosphere. I left the comm once I saw that. Really don't want to hang out with such hatefilled douchebags).
