It actually sounds kinda poignant when it's put like that.

Yeah, the more I think about it, the more I like it. Like, could there be two more different women on paper, in terms of family, and values, and lifestyle? And they weren't the most important characters... Harry is the chosen one, and Dumbledore is the greatest wizard, and pretty much every other character has more to *do* in terms of fighting the actual war. But in the end, the pure act of wanting to protect their sons was what saved the world.
