yes, it's wrong to have sex with children. It's a crime and reprehensible... when it actually happens.

In fiction, it's an idea: power differentials, extreme taboo

It's wrong to have sex with animals. They can't consent. In fiction, it's bestiality kink: humiliation, degradation, huge size and power differentials.

It's wrong to rape people.

It's wrong to keep sexual slaves.

It's wrong to have D/s universes where submissives can be caught and collared, it's wrong to have incestuous relationships, it's wrong to force infantilization, wrong to douse people with sex pollen, wrong to do ANY NUMBER OF FUCKING THINGS, many of which personally squick the fuck out of me. Yes, child rape is certainly on that list.

YKINMK doesn't end when it's something you find REALLY awful, even reprehensible. There's no "all fictional kinks are okay except ______, which makes you sick." I honestly can't believe most of the people in this thread.

+1 to all of this. The number of people saying "I'm usually the first person to say YKINMK, but this is not okay!!" is just kind of stupid, to be honest. Why is any other kink acceptable? Why draw the line here? Why is any other kink that involves something that would be horrible, disgusting, reprehensible, illegal IRL okay, but this one is "OMG, you're a pedophile!!!"?

It seems like most people assume that a person who reads chan/underage fic must also want that to happen to children in real life or something, which is just not true.

Seriously. We go through this every time there is wank on this topic, but it blows my mind how people are able to excuse rape, incest, kidnapping, etc as "well of course people who write/read noncon fic don't want to rape someone/be raped in real life!" but then seem to believe that someone who writes/reads about underage must, of course, by a child molester IRL.

+1. You can still believe in YKINMK and be disgusted with those prompts (I don't see why there should be conflict here). But I'm baffled by the number of people who are judging the prompters as closeted pedophiles despite not knowing a thing about them. I guess this makes me a closeted rapist and I shouldn't be allowed to post any rape prompts ever. (And unrelatedly I'm also surprised by the people who think kink memes are all about sexual gratification. The kink memes I've seen are more like general prompt parties with a sexual (not even a sexy) focus.)

Feel free to side-eye the tastes of your fellow kink memers, but saying it's unacceptable and slapping a pedophile label on them? What?
