Anon, I think the person responding to you is pointing out the fact "taboo" is a word like "perfect" and "unique." Saying something is "even more perfect" is grammatically incorrect and a little silly, considering the definition of perfect already.

Thus, saying "even more taboo" is an odd thing to say, because once something is taboo, it's taboo across the board. There are no degrees of intensity concerning the word.
