I've only really seen it with Supernatural RPF (though there was that Jutin Bieber/Justin Bieber's dad fic a while ago). I'm sure there's some in other rps fandoms too, but I doubt it approaches anywhere near the amount that Supernatural has

bc the whole defense element of "it's just fiction" is thrown out the window when i remember that these are now actual people being written about as pedophiles and their victims? i mean, yes, ofc all rps is fictitious to a certain degree in that we don't know any of them and cannot truly write their personalities, etc etc. most of them probably have their baby pictures floating around the internet somewhere.


although i guess if you couldn't suss that out yourself, there is no point to answering this.

i don't know, i think all pedo porn - whether based on fictional characters or some fictionalization of real people - is on the same level of awfulness.

It's still just fiction when we have deaged characters or people who are the same age depicted in two different age categories. I personally don't like RPF but I don't begrudge people their cup of tea. And trust me, if the real people in these stories had complained about them, they would've be taken down immediately.

tl;dr: no real person is harmed by RPS unless they come out and say so.

Really? A person can't be harmed unless they come out and say so? How is the reporting of hurt in any way a prerequisite for the hurt? You can't *measure* the harm by RPS without people coming out and say so, I guess it could be, but to say that it's not harmful as long as people stay silently horrified is ridiculous.

Seriously? RPS in general squicks out a quite a few people just because it deals with real life people instead of characters

Plus, a lot of people would be extremely disturbed if they read a story about them being molested as a child by their doctor or whatever.
