I am pretty heavily involved in the hockey RPS community but none of my RL friends or even other randoms on the internet know it, because all of it is done pseudonymously through a sock account, and sometimes I am just BURNING with desire to tell a random stranger that I write and read hockey slash like it's my job

Haha, I was only slightly in Hockey for a year or two back as a teen when all my friends were obsessed with both the games and the players, but I always feel SPESCHUL when people mention Sydney Crosby because I saw him play/got an autograph back when he played in the Quebec junior league, Rimouski Oceanic, wheee. I wish I hadn't lost it :(
