I'm not really apathetic towards Snape because I have serious issues with him and I'd really like to punch him in the face for how he treated Harry, Hermione, and Neville.

But I agree that Umbridge is an incredible character, and I think the proof of that is that a large part of the fandom hates her more than Voldemort. I've heard so many people say they got so aggravated with her they wanted to scream and throw their books at the wall. I think Jo wrote her extremely well, and that's why I really, really fucking hate Umbridge. For the poll though, I wanted Hermione to win.

I know! Voldemort made me sad and upset and the things he did were awful, but Umbridge made me ANGRY. I think it's a lot more difficult to write character that evokes so much anger, as opposed to mere "Jeez, that sucks. That dude is so evil."
