Wait, he's 40ish? I always thought he was in his 20s. Granted, this doesn't make the pairing any better. I love CCS, but yeah, the pairing kind of weird me out, too.

Yeah, I'm not sure where OP got the idea he was late 30s. I was pretty sure he was in his 20s. And yeah, that pairing was weird but a)it's CLAMP and b) Hot for Teacher is one of my favorite poison.

Yes, I understand IRL, it is totally bad and wrong, but hey, fantasy!

Oh, I have no problems with the Hot for Teacher deal or the age gap (I have a thing for older men, though I'm far more of an acceptable age than Rika. XD), it's just...she's ten and Terada is in love with her. I keep wondering if he just likes little girls, but he's willing to wait till she's older, so what's the deal? He just likes her. That's sweet and all and I get CLAMP's message (and applaud it), but...she's ten. XD
