Yeah, I get'cha. On the one hand, one of the things that I love about CCS is that it's a world where all forms of love are universally accepted; no one, in any part of the world of that manga, has any problem with homosexuality, bisexuality, or anything like that. Fujitaka accepted that Sonomi was in love with Nadeshiko even though they were both women and cousins to boot. Sakura didn't bat an eyelash that Touya and Yukito were in love and would be together. People thought it was beautiful that Kaho had a relationship with Touya (when he was a student too, remember, and she was his student teacher), and later felt the same way toward her relationship with Eriol. And while I don't think that Sakura ever really caught on to what was going on between Terada-sensei and Rika, I think that if she had known (and she did suspect, IIRC), she would have been cool with it.

So while I love the fact that everyone is perfectly okay and accepting with love in the CCS world, and wish that we could have more of some of that acceptance in our world (for instance, could we stop persecuting LGBTQ people please? Thanks), yeah, I was always somewhat skeeved by Terada-sensei/Rika, as well as Kaho/Eriol. Yeah, with Kaho/Eriol it's a bit different because technically he's SUPER old, but . . . still. And with Terada-sensei and Rika, you don't even have that.

So yeah, it's definitely a bit skeevy, and I feel you there. Again, it's great how everyone is so accepting of love in that universe, but to look at things realistically, Rika would not be ready for that kind of relationship. It's not okay.

(With regards to that universe, CLAMP has said that everyone who hooks up in that series are soul mates -- and that they would be regardless of who they were born as. Meaning that even if Sakura and Syaoran had been in a similar situation, they would have found their way to each other. At the very least, this gives me hope for Tomoyo; that even though she loves Sakura, maybe her soul mate is still out there and will find her, and she'll have a happy ending -- a TRULY happy ending after all. <3)

Although, is Eriol super old? He only has Clow's memories, I thought? He's his reincarnate but not actually him, right? I don't remember...

The reason Kaho/Eriol didn't freak me out like Rita and her teacher is because Eriol is an old soul. He was reincarnated into a younger body but he remembers everything that happened to Clow. To me, he is essentially an adult mind and soul in a child's body.

At least that was how I always saw him.

I thought Tomoyo crush on Sakura was cute but then I realized that they're cousins and it wasn't so cute anymore. And I do love that no one has issues with homosexuality, bisexuality, etc. If only it was like that in RL.
