Just be glad Ron was there. I'm sure if it were completely up to Steve Kloves Ron would be busy off screen. Lord forbid RON get in the way of Harry and Hermione.

Yup. Kloves' favourite was Hermione, and JKR said that 'her heart just melted', and apparently he took that as having carte blanche to give her all the good lines and scenes.

For fucking real. Kloves' obvious dislike and/or apathy toward Ron was so damn transparent in the last three movies. Like I'm legit surprised the Trio all held hands at the end of Part 2 instead of Harry and Hermione sharing ~meaningful looks while Ron stands in the background and sulks.
