Pfft, I am a 27 year old virgin. Losing it never a priority with me although I was offered a few times. I haven't found the one I would give it to and I don't real any less mature or "adult" being one (and quite frankly, some of my friends who are sexually active aren't that mature).

I mean, sometimes looking at other folk, you feel like it's something you should've done by now, but if there's opportunity and the moment just plain doesn't feel right, there's no reason to go for it just for the sake of unlocking an achievement.

As of tomorrow I'll be 25 and still a virgin. Which I've honestly been kind of dreading because obviously the older you get the more it sucks having no experience (for me not just with sex but serious relationships in general), but I still know it's seriously nothing to feel lame about or ashamed of admitting. Despite the kind of assumptions some might make, there are a lot of reasons people might end up at your age or past it without having sex yet that have nothing to do with being a prude or unattractive or a loser.

And for some reason it kind of makes me feel better to think about all the people my age I know who aren't virgins and how they aren't necessarily getting laid way more than me anyway, lol. Most of them haven't been with more than a couple people their whole lives, so it's obviously just finding the right person that I'm missing out on.
