I got some of that, too, when I was first realizing it. I remember first finding this place and one of the first secrets I came across was something like, "You only want to be a man because of all the yaoi you read," and considering I'm a slash fan, it...hurt :/ I know it wasn't directed at me, but still.

But then I got to the point where I realized that it's not a pipe dream and I don't live in some fantasyland where this shit's gonna be easy, but I wanna do it anyway because it's better than the alternative, and the people who're hating on trans guys aren't going through the same shit. So I got some "haters gonna hate" attitude and kept moving forward because hey, it's my life, not theirs.

So don't let the haters (or the trolls) get you down :)
