I'm a bit surprised by some of the angry reactions to this secret. The OP presumably likes the series so much that they will be upset if they can't share it with their own kids, and has written a hyperbolic secret about it: on its own, that's hardly a sign of something they ought to be hit for, to take as a sign they shouldn't ever have kids, or to mentally rewrite the secret as "my worst fear as a parent will be if the kids don't like HP..."

I think it's pretty normal. My mom was kind of bummed that I wasn't interested in learning to play the piano. Just kind of bummed. She didn't, like, try to take over my life and force me to take piano lessons or anything. I suspect that most parents have things like that.
