IA. Team sports are an exception where you kind of have to pick a team and stick with them or you will be judged. Usually it's your home team, but in the world of hockey it's also acceptable to pick one of the original 6 as well. You DO NOT root for two rival teams otherwise be prepared to be told you're not a fan because you can't choose. But you can have favorite players. You can bandwagon when your team is out of the playoffs, which isn't much better, but it happens and it's not as bad. That's just how it works.

Now, you can root for whatever teams you want, but don't expect other fans to be accepting of it and don't be surprised when you get insulted for it.
