That's common, actually. And it's not odd that you don't feel as "protective" of other fandoms. It happens, it feels horrible, and you just have to make sure it doesn't make you act like an elitist ass around new fans.

Those movies have improved their cinematography greatly as they've progressed and yes, that scene was very well done.

This is my least favorite of John's books, I barely even finished it. I love his other works but this one just didn't catch my eye like the others...
