1. But how would you feel if somebody close to you needed money for something urgent and you had spent it all on your fandom?

5. Have you ever heard of preferences? I love FFVII, I don't care what anyone says about how "overrated" it is. I remember when it first came out and I was always pestering the boys to tell me more before I got to play. I love KH as well (KHII >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> KHI) because it was like, everything I loved all in two games.

You like your games, and others like their games. You can't change that. Sure, suggesting other games is all right but I hate when people slam down their favorites on others.

5. Sure, yeah, they're great games, but do you realise how hard it is to GET them?
I have to go and shell out a load of money so I can MOD my PS2 (which is hard since I've got the old model - it's hard to find the necessary things) and that's only IF I can find a copy of any of the Xenosaga games. I've tried. The only things you can find are backup games. Digital Devil Saga? Hoyeah, great game. I've got both, but only because I'm very freacking lucky. The first game was never even RELEASED here. It goes on.

So, sure, there's better games than KH and FF (though hell, I love them too) but it's not always as easy as "people should play these games. period."

There's always the "Wait X-number of years for computer emulation technology to progress enough so that you can grab a ROM/ISO of the game and play on your computer" but that's so uncomfortable. :(

3. I like to think a lot of my stuff comes across that way... gen-with-heavy-doses-of-het is my favoritest thing, but it can be difficult to find. If you're into R/Hr and H/G, the Sugarquill has a buttload of that stuff, though unfortunately a lot of it is rather bland.

Most of my fics lean that way, and I tend to favor the stories with more ambiguous relationships. Subtlety and subtext generally make up my favorite pairings. I think it's more interesting that way because it leaves more up in the air, I guess. Kudos to you, though. ♥

20. Sounds familiar. I had someone like that on my flist for a long time. Said person only ever talked about a) how persecuted they were in fandom, and b) how said persecution made them vomit and have horrible pains and ruin their life.
