I agree. I wish the romance would have been left open, or at least that everybody hadn't married the people they met in school. And that the family part of Harry's story had ended with him realising that he didn't need the idealised family in his mind, but that Ron, Hermione, the Weasleys and his friends were his family, and that families can be different things and no worse because of it.

I'm really confused by this complaint. All wizards in the UK go to Hogwarts. Unless they were going to meet and marry muggles or marry someone with a 7+ year age difference, the odds are pretty damn good they went to school together.

and that's why I ship Draco/Asteria Greengrass. Don't know a damn thing about her, but I'm just glad that somebody married someone they weren't dating in school.
