I think at some point they must have been good at what they did, since they were wanted villains in the beginning of the show. Then they got obsessed with Pikachu and the whole thing went south.

I have an irrational hatred of Cassandra Claire...mostly because a sort of friend in HS ranted about another friend's love for the Eragon books because 'the author basically stole everything from other fantasy books rawr rawr rawr' and then the next second would basically wax poetic about the Draco whatsit series and I was all ...'uh...all the good parts of that are directly stolen from other work....'

For serious. I have been doing a series of metas on Cat of womenlovefest, so I'm in an especially Cat-defending and stanning mood right now, and like her bad decisions don't have nearly the impact that Ned's do. And most of the consequences are things she could not have foreseen whereas Ned's decision to let Cersei flee was pretty obviously going to end badly.

I would guess that's about it: lack of women = misogyny. I mean, I don't know the comic, but if there are only a handful of characters being focused on, throwing a token woman in there just seems...rude? Webcomics cater a lot to author appeal, so if the author is only interested in (gay) men, then that's what the comic is going to be about. Maybe they simply don't feel comfortable writing female characters, because there's a lot of "damned if you do, damned if you don't" attitude regarding it. IMO, so long as there isn't an unreasonable dearth of female characters or disproportionate negativity towards females, I'm not really seeing misogyny.

Tbh I always thought Arya gets a free pass because she isn't just boyish, she's a kid. She's still mostly operating outside the boundaries of what it means to be female in Westeros (and the plot carefully prevented her from doing so; what if she was stuck at court post Ned's death as well as Sansa?), and at this point I don't know if her story will ever lead her there, given she's busy becoming a ninja in Venice Braavos.
