Saying this as a Chinese - the hating between China and Japan can get pretty tense, and yes I get there are historic reasons blah blah blah but seriously? Consider I can only understand my side with the language barrier and all, I really want to disown some of my fellow country men. The incident with the butcher's boy ties back into her naivete - she had no reason to believe that would end as badly as it did. She did back Joffrey over Arya, but she was 11, he was her crush, she had no reason to think anyone would get killed over it, and she paid for it almost instantly. I just think it's a little unfair to call it "betrayal".

Because she clearly did remember what happened and could have saved a lot of trouble, perhaps even the boy's life, by fessing up to the truth.

But she feared Joffrey might not want to marry her then, so she kept her mouth shut at the expense of the boy and her own sister, and in the end doomed her own wolf for the mistake.

But when you get a bunch of people who seem incredibly upset by the fact that Pottermore sorted them into the wrong house, or having epiphanies because OMG wait, that makes sense! you kind of have to wonder... It's like, why are they so invested in what amounts to a fictional personality test that only bases itself on like, one or two personality traits per house?

Oh, come on. We haven't seen a "cool story, bro" secret of this magnitude for a while. It's some boring adult's transparent attempt at getting strangers on the Internet to fawn over a WAY QUIRKY childhood. The secret could've been scripted by Diablo Cody herself.

really? not to sound like an asshole, but reading people's body language isn't exactly a hard thing to do. and when it shows in things like losing their smile, eyes darting away to other women, eyes losing focus when i introduce myself, face going slack, etc... then yeah i'm going to take a hint and accept that they aren't all that interested in me.

you might not understand what that feels like. but as a girl who's looks aren't all that, it's something many of us go through all the time. it's very/i> easy to tell when a person isn't interested in you. i don't need to be a mind reader to tell that.
and it sucks when you know it's all due to your looks and not your personality.
