You should check out the ASOIAF fandom on lj. There are lots of Sansa fans here. It's really only the non-lj places like westeros.org and Tower of the Hand that has the hate-on for her.

Hey, I like Sansa... in the books, anyway.
Granted, the TV version has been pretty obnoxious, but I'm giving her at least another season before I pass judgement.

I've only read the first book and seen the show, but I think the show toned down how unlikeable she is in the early parts of the first book. When she does become more sympathetic she's great, and she's actually one of my favorites at the moment, but her early chapters in aGoT make her pretty unbearable.

Thanks! I just think she's a realistic character. Arya is very unique, but a lot of people would react more like Sansa in those situations.
