(Anonymous) 2011-09-14 02:04 am (UTC)(link)Now that I'm done with that. Wouldn't that actually start to narrow the gene pool if you really did kill off all of those deemed "useless." You'd also have to wait thousands of years for any significant trait to become embedded in our genes anyways.
Also, pretty sure that the laws of genetics works in the way that "pretty person + pretty person = ugly person" more often than pretty person. So mating your two top candidates with awesome traits (attractiveness, strength, immunity...) will likely have less favorable results.
... Of course, this is just what I THINK I recall from high school biology. If anyone here has had advanced courses and can correct me (or elaborate on if I'm actually right) please do.
