What I don't get is when Misha is praised as being some sort of God of Trolls when he's trolling the Supernatural fandom. Come on, isn't that like shooting fish in a barrel? Where's the challenge? (Sorry, that's mean of me. But if it makes Supernatural fans feel any better, I'm part of The Vampire Diaries fandom, and we're not any better for the most part. I think.)

Hmmm, now I'm trying to think of fandoms that would be better to troll.... Glee? Nah, Ryan Murphy does that all on his own.

It has a rep of being filled with batshit, gullible tinhats. (ETA: You should check out the spn-gossip comm if you have time, it's a doozy. I don't think the people there like Misha very much, probably because he seems to like taking the piss over the ~conspiracy re: Jensen & Jared. It's pretty amusing if you're in the mood for wank.)

Glee fandom is batshit too, but not in the same way, because I don't think there are as many tinhats... then again, I hear that some people are convinced that Lea and Diana are sekritly gay for each other, so maybe not....

As a person trying to slowly step away from the Glee fandom, or the majority of it at least, there are quite a few tinhats if you look in the right places. I've heard there is actually a petition going around for Darren Criss to kiss Chris Colfer if he wins an emmy, the CrissColfer fans can be really.... scary to say the least. ((Along with a few members of the Klaine and Kum)) side as well. Hell I'm going Anon, because of the wank.

The one time I ventured to spn_gossip I didn't know whether to laugh hysterically or cry for the cast & everyone involved. Saying this as someone who is definitely a Supernatural fan and who has dabbled in the fandom, but does not understand that part of it at all.

(Anoning bc I'm sure I have fandom friends who participate there and I don't want to offend them. But... seriously?)
