I met him very briefly at a social gathering and the impression I got was that InsaneTroll!Misha is just as fictional as any character he's ever played on screen.

My sister and her husband are guests at DragonCon every year and they invited Misha to their usual barbecue-and-chicken night because he was a guest at the con this year, and my brother-in-law had gotten to know him at ComicCon. (My sister also made a Castiel puppet for him.) He dropped by for a short visit in the course of the evening and he was very polite and soft-spoken the whole time he was there.

That's interesting since I met him briefly at a social gathering and he was incredibly insulting to everyone there except for my best friend who he then proceeded to hit on in front of her husband. I'd really like to think that he's not usually like that.

Haven't met him or anything but that's the impression i get too. Like, it's just another side of him and depending on who he is with, he'd just pull off whatever is suitable in that situation.
