Eleven and I are done professionally after this episode. He was on notice after brainwashing humanity to commit genocide for him in the opening two parter, but now we're done. Because it was bad enough that he lied to himself that old!Amy wasn't real to make himself feel better, but he didn't even have the stones to go through with it. He passed the buck to Rory and tried to make him pull the trigger. So we're done.

Unless of course he gets some huge comeuppance and learns a lesson at the end of this series. Then I will reconsider.

I don't know, the Silence were at least demonstrably *evil*. They just got done trying to blow up spacetime and cause the end of the universe, that is pretty fucked up.

I don't really have an issue with the Doctor genociding them because he's committed genocide before and he'll probably do it again. My issue is more with the fact that he brainwashed humanity to kill the Silence. Yeah, it was ~for their own good~ or whatever, but I just hate that he is taking away choice for them, just like the Silence were.
