As near as I can tell, I am one of like six people in the whole world whose opinion of this film is "eh, it's okay," whether we're talking about the movie itself (which would be great MST3K fodder if only the fans hadn't already mined that vein to bare rock) or the live show (I've been twice, parts of it were fun, parts were kind of tacky and gross) or just the music.

It's OK. You can let your friends have their fun without having to participate, and if they keep pushing after you've tried it and found it creepy, then they're being bad friends.

Count me as seven, then. I like it enough to have bought it, but I can think of a lot of movies--hell, I can think of musicals, Tim Curry movies, etc.--that I like better. I've been to two live shows, and... meh. They were fun, but again, I don't find myself with a burning need to go see it live again.
