(Anonymous) 2011-09-17 11:39 pm (UTC)(link)Urgh, though, to those people. Urgh to anyone who reacts as if a celeb has ~violated their trust~ whenever they reveal they're in a relationship. As if the first words out of a celeb's mouth should be "before you fans start crushing on me, here are the deep, personal details of my private life". Seeing the poor woman get ripped to shreds was disgusting. Putting ironic quote marks around the word wife, or insinuating she's not worthy of being his wife is gross. Women hating on women for the crime of being a woman is so frustrating. If you like him as an actor, how does his marriage effect his ability to act?! This crap is also why gay actors are encouraged to keep their sexuality secret - because their fans may up and leave as if it something effects their job that the actor likes boys instead of girls.
