Thank you for the rec, anon. I thought the premise of Lost was brilliant, but the plot was the most painfully ludicrous writers-on-drugs nonsense. Interested to see how this other show does it.

I've never watched Lost, but I checked this show out because of Corbin Bleu, and to be honest I thought it was kind of shitty. The writing was okay (though I didn't pay much attention to it), but the acting was really, really terrible, and not in a charming way. Like, it was unwatchable for me.

I can believe it when you say that show is better written than Lost was (I almost spontaneously combust everytime I think about those DREADFUL last couple of seasons), but the look of that cast makes me cringe.

And I've had enough of plane crashes anyway.

Ha! I forgot all about this show. It was pretty good, but I wouldn't say it was done better. It's still a "kid's show" afterall.

This was one of my sister's favorite shows back when it was on, and I have to say that it was really fun to watch with her. I thought it did a pretty good job. Not everything was perfect, for sure, but it was fun for a "kid's show" and I thought was pretty good with the whole "OK, we need to survive" aspects.
