Are the later games any better than the absolute garbage that was AC1? On one hand I feel like just about anything could be better, including visiting the dentist...on the other I think any sequel would have to be amazing to redeem the experience of playing the first game.

But seriously, the repetitiveness, the terrible, terrible controls, the interminable unskippable cutscenes D:

I haven't played AC1 (I got it for $10 yesterday though out of curiosity), but 2 and Brotherhood are proclaimed better by like.. everyone. The biggest complaints I've heard about 1 is that it's repetitive and boring - which I can say the others aren't. And yes, you can skip cutscenes!

2's the best one so far I think.

Well that shouldn't be hard to do. AC has lots of love. :)

I know what you mean OP - personally I'd love to find someone to rp 1x1 with as far AC goes but >>;; finding someone hasn't exactly proven easy.

Aww, dang, that sounds awesome. I've never been super-motivated to get into fandom RP, but that sounds like a Best Thing and I have no idea why it would be hard for you to find a partner. :)

Pfff, it's fun but it's not for everyone =3 The main problem I have is that most of the people I've run across who do rp it only do it in comm rps and that...just isn't my thing so XD;;

Finding an RP partner has gotten harder and harder (most of all if you want to base RPs on the multiplayer characters like I do).

Sadly that seems to be true for most fandoms, at least - if you want rp partners who are willing to do multi-character plots. [I have to admit I've never played the multi-player, but why wouldn't anyone be willing to rp plots with them?]

:C Man, it's dissapointing to hear it's like that. I've recently really gotten into the multiplayer characters.
It seems there's a bit of a comm on tumblr but tumblr rp boggles my mind a little.
I've found a few decent people on Gaia (okay, 1 and I'm irl friends with the other) but yeah, finding a good and active comm is tricky business.

OP, I love this game with a passion as well and have been playing it almost nonstop for three weeks.

I would love to nerd about this to someone because everyone else is like "yeah yeah, uh huh, okay, whatever."

I adore these games, and I nerd about them too frequently. You have good taste, OP.

I only discovered AC1 + 2 shortly before leaving for Beijing (studying here for half a year) :O ! Always wanted to play it but didn't have a PS3 until recently. I was in the middle of playing AC2 when I was leaving and it's one of the things I miss most about home... xD This screenshot looks awesome. I'm really looking forward to playing 2 + the other games but oh well, I still have to wait about 5 months... :X
I absolutely love AC2, but I did miss Altair and Malik xD (or Robert who I thought was a pretty cool character)
