I doubt YOU started the rumor but nevertheless the reaction from the fangirls was annoying. Tim would have been an interesting character to use for some asexual representation but the fandom was FAR less interested in that then what it would do to their pairing (that isn't any more canon WITHOUT Tim being asexual so I'm not sure why they care).
