Really? I hope they change/add at least something. Otherwise, what's the point? I've beaten this game twice already, and it had beautiful graphics the first time.

That's the point of a HD remake though. They just remaster the graphics (e.g. get rid of jaggies, add more detail to the faces, etc), add trophy support,

So you're essentially playing the same game, just remastered. It's like buying a movie on Blu-Ray instead of DVD. Or buying a remastered film instead of an original copy.

But even remastered DVDs or Blu-Rays usually have extra deleted scenes, or at least new commentary or making-of. That's why I buy them o_O. They've got to add something.

I mean, even the Chrono Trigger re-release had an extra dungeon and completely re-localized dialogue. The RE remakes had a ton of extra content that wasn't in the original games, like secret areas and bonus bosses, as well as revamped graphics.

So no, no it's not the whole point of an HD remake. It's only part of the point. If I don't get any extra content - speaking as someone who did buy the CT and RE and some of the FF remakes - I ain't buying this.

Square will probably throw in some demo for FF# (whatever the latest release/spinoff) is with a "fancy" case and "limited edition" sticker book or CD or some shit like that. Square seems to be really lazy the past few years. I don't think they're even trying anymore tbh.

IIRC the rerelease is going to be of the International version, with the extra bosses. But that's about it. *is torn*
